また検査施設にはライブラリがあり、有用なアーユルヴェーダ医学の古典から自然製品や現代の医薬品の参照文献、すなわち欧州薬局方、米国薬局方、インド薬局方、日本薬局方、韓国薬局方、AOAC などの膨大なコレクションが閲覧できます。

ルースとは、スペイン語の Luz に由来し「光」の意味を持ちます。ルース研究所は、1999 年に北海道・札幌で始まり、現在、「水」と「光」、「植物」、「微生物」の研究を行っています。

札幌市内にある自社農園では、薬や香水の原料となるバラや薬用植物などの栽培をしております。農園では、化学肥料や農薬は一切使用せず、畑の草や山の腐葉土、成分を抽出したあとの草花たちを畑に還す自然循環型農業を行っております。農園の一角には蒸留設備が完備され、朝、収穫されたバラの花やハーブを、新鮮なうちに蒸留・抽出できるようにしております。また、災害時に備えた地下水や発電設備を整えています。

Luce research Inc. derives its name from the Spanish word Luz, meaning “light.”
Founded in 1999 in Sapporo, Hokkaido, the institute is dedicated to research centered on water, light, plants, and microorganisms.
At its privately owned farm in Sapporo, roses used as raw materials for medicines and perfumes, along with various medicinal plants, are carefully cultivated. The farm practices fully natural, sustainable agriculture, without the use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Field grasses, mountain leaf compost, and the residual plant materials left after extraction are returned to the soil, creating a regenerative, closed-loop ecosystem.
Within the farm grounds, a fully equipped distillation facility enables freshly harvested roses and herbs to be distilled and extracted immediately each morning, preserving their vitality and aromatic integrity. The facility is also equipped with groundwater reserves and independent power generation systems to ensure resilience in times of natural disaster.
Essentia Co., Ltd., a pharmacy and manufacturing division, takes its name from the Latin word Essentia, meaning “Essence, Life, and Light.”
