『ヘナ百科』という素晴らしい作品を通じて、ヘナの歩みが世界的な舞台で称えられていることを目の当たりにできることは、私にとって大きな名誉であり、同時に深い感慨を覚える瞬間でもあります。
数千年前、古代の伝統の中で自然から授けられた神聖な恵みとして始まったヘナは、今日、科学・文化・サステイナビリティを結びつけながら、新たな形でその価値を世界へ発信しています。
20 年以上にわたり、私は森田要代表と共にこの道を歩むという大変貴重な機会に恵まれてきました。それは単なるビジネス上の協力関係ではなく、信頼と敬意、そして「自然をより人々の身近な存在にしたい」という共通の理念によって築かれた関係です。
森田代表の導きは、私の歩みにおいて常に大きなインスピレーションの源であり続けました。
静かな強さ、深い知恵、そして揺るぎない使命感を持つ方は決して多くありません。森田代表は、まさにそのような稀有な存在のお一人です。

It is both an honor and a deeply emotional moment for me to witness the journey of Henna being celebrated on a global stage through this extraordinary work of “Henna Encyclopedia.” What began thousands of years ago as a sacred gift of nature in ancient traditions has today found a renewed voice, bridging science, culture and sustainability in the most profound way.
For over two decades, I have had the privilege of walking this path alongside Mr. Kaname Morita-san, a relationship built not just on partnership, but on trust, respect, and a shared vision for bringing nature closer to humanity. His guidance has been a constant source of inspiration in my journey. There are very few individuals who carry such quiet strength, deep wisdom and unwavering commitment to purpose. Mr. Morita-san is truly one of them.
His vision for this book goes far beyond documentation, it is devotion. Through Henna Encyclopedia, he has not just compiled knowledge; he has given life to a philosophy. A philosophy that reminds us that true beauty is not created in laboratories but nurtured through harmony with nature. His ability to bring together art, science, healing and sustainability reflects a rare depth of understanding. One that touches the heart as much as it informs the mind.
Henna, or Lawsonia inermis, is not merely a plant, nor just a natural dye. It is a living symbol of balance, healing and conscious living. It gives me immense pride to be part of this significant occasion celebrating the “Henna Encyclopedia” a work that reflects years of dedication, research and respect for nature.
I would like to sincerely appreciate Mr. Kaname Morita-san for his commitment to bringing this knowledge to the global community. His efforts symbolize a bridge between cultures, where the ancient wisdom of natural healing meets the refined sensibilities of Japan and the modern world.
Henna has always been more than a product for us; it is a legacy. A legacy rooted in purity, sustainability, and care for human health. Today, as the world faces challenges caused by excessive chemical usage, this book stands as an important reminder that nature has always provided us with safe and effective solutions.
